Home Up Glorias View Interview with Diane Brennan A LETTER FROM ARI FEMME NAME Out in Franklin PA Paula SO1 Questionnaires Olena TO Deborah Cheryl

TO:  AO Chapter members:

I apologize for getting this out so late, but I wanted to take the time to say what a wonderful time I had visiting your chapter.  Being a former member it was fun to see old friends and equally fun meeting new ones.  One new friend who made a great impression on me was your newly elected president, Karen.  After the meeting she personally invited me to join her and some of the other AO members at a local club; (a very interesting club I might add).

In the rush to get to the AO meeting I didn't have a chance to eat before flying over to Cleveland from Detroit and it didn't help matters by not eating at the meeting or at the club that night.  On the way  back to the hotel, Karen stopped off at a friend's and while there the lack of food finally caught up with me and I fainted, much to the surprise of Karen and her friend!  They both quickly revived me and here is where the true character of your new president shone through.  Karen could have easily taken me back to the hotel room to get back home to her family, as it was already well after midnight, but instead she insisted that we go to a local hospital to be checked.  The entire hospital ordeal took over 5 hours and Karen stayed the entire time, even after my frequent urging that she go home and I get a taxi back to the hotel. If Karen was willing to show this kind of compassion for someone she just met, I can only imagine what she will do for her friends and fellow AO members.

I wish to extend my sincerest thanks to Karen for all her care and help and ask that this letter be relayed to the AO membership.  Oh, by the way, I am definitely planning on attending another AO meeting since I can't wait to see what Karen has planned for an encore.
