Circumstances brought NY/LA designer Laurie Chesbrough back to
her family home to provide fashion consulting services, and
discounted LA/NY and London fashions to the area. Her
primary clientele is women who want a sharper, fashion forward
image. It's not so much the clothes as her eye on the
clients body shape, hair color etc.
Be aware that this is not (presently) a "dress up and
take pictures" place. If you are interested you go on
the same terms as another other woman. You arrive properly
dressed, (no changing there), and you plan to augment your
warddrobe. This is a place to get $800 clothes for $200,

Mary Jo has visited AO meetings twice now to demonstrate the
SeneGence line of cosmetics. Senegence started out with a lip
stain that won't wear off used with a gloss cover that you renew
periodically. The now have other long wearing makeup
products in their line as well. |

The Canadian Cosmetics Chain MAC has a great reputation
for supporting the transgender community. Tim and
Melinda used to run the counter at Saks in Beachwood
place, but now run a full store in Tower City.
They have a private backroom for doing makeovers.
The website features a changing roster of make designs
you can modify or copy. We've heard that they are
now charging $90 for makeovers at the downtown location. |
